Vinsjekk.no is a Norwegian service that makes it easier to understand used car information before buying or selling. By searching with the registration number or VIN, the user can access vehicle information, factory data, equipment list, mileage history, owner history, EU inspection, mortgage and liens.
Our goal is to make car information more honest, transparent and understandable. Many VIN services either show little information or raw technical data that can be difficult to interpret. Vinsjekk compiles important information into one report, so both buyers and sellers get better insight into the car's actual value, equipment and history.
Why we exist
In today's market, it is all too easy to portray a car as better than it actually is.
“Premium” is used loosely – without matching equipment, history or actual value.
We believe it should be easier to see what you are actually buying or selling.
Our goal is to create more transparency in the car market – so that both the buyer and seller know what the car actually consists of.

Our goal is for Vinsjekk to become a natural part of buying and selling cars in Norway.
That it becomes standard to check what a car actually is – before buying or selling.
In the United States, it is common to use services like Carfax to gain insight into a car's history before purchase.
We believe the same should be standard in Norway – with a solution that is adapted to Norwegian conditions.

As of today, we offer a simple and secure solution:

The report is delivered directly to you by email.
